WE NEED YOUR SHOEBOXES

"Every year thousands of children are displaced from their homes by natural disasters, acts of war or poverty. Many of these children are separated from their families and have become orphans. The season of Christmas can be especially difficult for children who cannot afford to purchase their own clothes or hygiene items, let alone a toy or two.

To address this word wide need, several Christian charities and organizations have developed special programs called shoebox. Several small packaged into shoe boxes and sent to children all over the world."

This year Kidz Alive is sending shoe boxes to orphanages that we support. We are asking for everyone to start bringing in as many shoe boxes as you can.

We also need items donated so our kids can fill the boxes.

BRING ALL ITEMS TO KIDZ ALIVE!

During missions Sunday, November 28th, Kidz Alive kidz will begin filling and wrapping the shoe boxes for less fortunate kids!! :)

HUDDLE UP in DECEMBER!

2nd Saturday in December, the 11th. We'll meet in the Gym at 9:00am and the event goes until 12pm. This is a FAMILY EVENT for all families with children who are in Kindergarten through 6th grade. If you also have small children, you are welcome to bring them. There is not childcare for them but they can be with your family.

We will be eating a light breakfast to start the day and then have activities that you will do as a family to help you work as a team and value other members of your family above yourself. We have entertainment, fun, challenges, and worship all integrated into this day. You will laugh as well as have tender moments and interaction with your family. It's things like this that your kids will remember. We'll end the event with a couple of big "human foosball" games. That the whole family can participate in. We did a trial run through with our staff and we had a blast!

Come dressed in your favorite football team attire and be thinking about a good team name for your family.

Mark your calendar for Saturday December 11th!!! It's worth getting excited about!
